Adjusting Angel Eye

OK, now Ive got my Angel Eyes fitted alright, but they seem to be pointing more at the sky than the road!!!

I didnt take the motor adjuster things off the old lights as the Angel Eyes seem to have a manual adjuster, but this doesnt seem to point them down very much. Should I have put the motor in?

they are bloody awful
yeah ideally you need to put the motor in then adjust them with the allen key on the motor

if not you have to unclip the motor blanking thing, take it out and manually thread the screw in or out and guess at how much
silly idea. when i had mine fitted even after i aimed them they were boss eyed pointing out sideways

they are also for sale coincidently if anyones interested lol

Im going to have a closer look at them in a minute now its dark to see how bad they are

i transferred the headlight adjuster motors from old headlight when angels were installed, you can then control them with the wheel switch on the drivers side and then fine tune (so they both are the same height) with the allen bolt in the adjuster motors

Ok, next question..........
how do you remove the headlight adjuster motors from the old headlights?
I've tried twisting, pulling, adjusting with the allen key, everything I can think of but they just don't seem to want to come out, arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

quarter turn the whole motor to the left or right (grab the motor itself not the allen key part)

Yep that worked Ok, thanks. I snapped a bit of plastic off the 1st one as I was a bit heavy handed did the second one alright tho

Just got to fit them now...................

excellent, at least you can get your alignment correct now, that reminds me ive gotta do that too lol
