I've read through the book that comes with them and as far as I understand it says something along the lines of fully compress the shock when adjusting the dampening, now I'm not sure if that's 100% accurate but if that's the case, you need to remove them from the car to adjust? Is this correct or can you adjust them on the car?

I don't know what book you've read that from mate, but mine doesn't say anything like that. They are adjustable on the car. The fronts have a allen key adjuster on the top of the damper and the rears are the same as koni top adjustables (which is what they are anyway)
