you shouldnt really be putting a baby through a car wash as social services could get involved!
but as for the swirls in your car chuck the tcut straight in the bin mate!!!
needs machine polishing mate! what colour?
depends how deep the scratches are will depend on what to use!
at our bodyshop we use fast cut plus and then 3m finesse it with a waffle pad but there are other products out there that will do the job just as good!

I'm guessing if you have a 172 Cup it is Mondial Blue.

Could machine polish, or hand polish, ballache and time consuming for either assuming you detailed it last week.
Alternatively, try a filler heavy polish or glaze such as Poorboys Black Hole.

It goes well on colours other than black. It will temporarily conceal the swirls until you get chance to polish again.
Just put 2 or 3 layers of sealant on top of the glaze afterwards.
