aerial removal on 1.6 16v

ok mu tuner on my head unit is not working i have put my old one back in and nowt. i have tryed a new aerial off my mates car and still nowt. i need to check to see if a wire as come loss from aerial outside.

do i go in from top of car, or do i take out my roof liner which is a big job and cant be asked....

any help will be help...

i surpose the car is a mk2 phase 2 with the aerial at the bck well the is a connection in the c piller ant u can just about c the aerial with the central seat belt taken out and stuff then pull the lineing down but wear gloves cos the lining will make u itch.

yeah mk2 ph2 will i have to take out all of the plastic above windows to rear or will the liner just force out until i get to the aerial???????

maybe take the c piller trims off both sides but should be ok just b careful.
