At the weekend some pikey stole my aerial.

Dont really understand why!

but i was looking on ebay for them, and i was wondering if anyone has those stubby chrome aerials or if you prefer the original black aerial?

black stubby not shiny metal try and get rubber, mostly found on honda civics, cr-v's, some nissans (x trail) etc, remember now no stealing :rasp:

You get a s**t reception with the aluminium ones , the CTR ones don't fit that well , they overhang the base . I think the modus have a shorter beesting aerial , you could try one of them . Summat like mine , but i nicked mine of an Opal Corsa in Menorca lol

ive got a stubby ally one and i get a sweet reception. although it was obtained in a similar fashion to mrbilly's one

cut it down . if you score rond the tip then pull it of cut it to desirable height the slide the tip back on looks very gd

Err, what exaclty am i looking at?

Id say they were worth around £300.
I bought mine about a year ago fo £600 with toyo proxes all round.
