Amazing photo's, nice to see photo's that have a lot of stories behind each one. This sort of stuff isn't in the media and your photos are what people need to see!

The PM images were used in the press.....not sure if you heard or read the story about the Soldier questioning the PM about "why do we have to pay Tax" whilst on operational tour?
If so that is the guy on the left, and that is the conversation in progress.
Also the shots of the women, are the first images of new Afghan National Police females......something never seen before. Only 13 females in the ANP in Helmand province.
The top image of sandals pinned to the wall, are sandals left behind from Suicide bombers....removed from the feet .

not really sure tbh, he appeared out of a group of approx 150-200 kids....only had chance to get 1 shot off of him, he then shied away.
It is no uncommon to see young kids out here with burns - they are usually down to stupid accidents in the homes- remember they are still living very basic out here, so they cook with large open metal pots on stoves, be it to heat water to bath with or cook with....the kids are forever coming into the hospitals after pulling over "cauldrons" of hot water etc. It was always my first instinctive thought that it was related to the war, but as you live with day to day life out here that is not always the case.
