after market cd player does not stay in place

hello der i fit my new cd player in when i put it in will not click in or stay in place in my clio

Most likely your cage isn't fitted correctly, or the stereo isn't locking to the cage properly.

Have you bent the tabs on the cage out properly?

TBH the HU space on a clio is notoriously tiny, have any of the wires at the back gotten in the way?
