Aftermarket pedals

Simple question... Are they legal?

A mate used to own a Clio with Sparco pedals, and didn't have any problems with his MOT or anything, but, the Demon Tweeks mag I have says that all pedals are for off road or show use only...

I'd love a set but don't want to be doing anything illegal. Can anybody help?

i'd say a big drill and some screwing

yeah, just line up the pedal where you want to it to be positioned, using a pencil mark the hole and drill it

Neither do I, but the Tweeks magazine says they're for show use only, so thought i'd check. Still unsure on what i'm drilling holes into.....

AFAIK if you're really really petty, if a car ships with rubber pedal grips then it has to have one to pass the MOT, if it doesn't then not.

you drill the holes into the metal pedal.. which is behind the rubber cover of the standard pedal
