Reference your enquiry on the Clio Cup we have for sale, the 225 bhp is
obtained from our 200 bhp engine kit see our web site for further details.
We then fit a new exhaust manifold and system, new motorsport ECU and a
forced induction air filter system. This gives another 25 bhp pushing it up
to 225.bhp while still retaining excellent driveability and economy for
everyday use.

E Larton.

Impressive! By forsed induction, do you mean Supercharged?
225Bhp, Someone told me that this is only obtainable though in the
instalation of throttle bodies?
LAD seem to have a good reputation, Is this a popular conversion, or one you
frequently do to customers cars?
Cheers
Alistair.

Sorry it should have read cold air ram effect ,rather than a cone filter
under the bonnet.. Because we do get some people saying that we cannot get
200 bhp from this engine we have had a independent rolling road power read
out at Well Lane Turbo Center on a customers car and it gave 208 bhp
against 2003 on our rolling road . I have attached a copy of this , you do
not require throttle bodies to obtain this power. The 200 bhp kit is very
popular and we do around three a month at the moment, both on the 172 and
182 also V6 Clio. The road test report on our web site always brings in
customers as again it is a independent one.The next Clio conversion would be
the end of may.

I think I must be Blind Ernie but I can't see any prices on the site...
That's an impressive RR sheet, looks nothing like mine in terms of shape. Mine ran 171Bhp and 146ft/lb torque as std. See I've found this useful Site called Cliosport.net? Not sure if you've heard of it? But basically there suggesting that I'd have to do alot of engine work to surpass 200Bhp out of the 2.0l engine? Who's wrong and who's right here?
I'm a bit of an amateur at engine preparation.
