Measure resistance on an airbag with a 'normal' meter and all you'll get is a bloody loud bang!!!!

I use a Fluke 75, I assumed nobody would be using an old AVO!

it's a thread started by someone wwho can't really afford to get the problem sorted, i'd say she's not going to have a decent test meter :wink:

I've got a basic multimeter. Cheap cheap range. Not a good idea using it then? Havnt actually used it yet but I don't want to fry it or explode and airbag in my face lol.

just get a big piece of duct tape and stick it over the dash so the airbag light can't be seen.

The serv and airbag light fault is often just a loose connection under the driver seat.
