Air bag light !

Driving home from work today and my SERV light and my air bag light came on at the same time. Does this mean there is a fault with my air bag ? suppose i will have to phone Renault tomorrow

have a fiddle with the wires under the passenger seat or slide the seat bk and forth , light will go off, happens on mine all the time.

i think its the connection under your seat or passenger seat that might be disconnected. did u move any of the seats today. it probably could be that. it happened to me twice

nah dont phone renault!. u jus hav 2 fiddle with the wires under the drivers/passenger seat. thts wat will prob b the cause of it comin on. its a common problem

its a dodgy connection under your or the passenger seat. most likely. very common

No i didnt move anything, i was sort of like going a bit fast round a roundabout cos there was a porsche behind me and my disk lock and stuff was sliding about. Will have to have a look at it at the weekend, i dont have a clue what i am looking for

mine neva used 2, the past couple of days its been on a couple of times tho. jus fiddle with the wires under the 2 front seats (there is a block connector under both). jus make sure they are pushed 2gether properly tht shud fix it.

I had this common problem, Renault wanted £30 to solder the wire under the passenger seat as the connection was loose. Do yourself a favour and do it yourself.

It means your airbag is gonna blow!! hehe! I had this in my old clio and as said above it was a loose connection under the seat, the pretensioner wire.

me with a soldering iron lol !!! i would end up soldering myself to the car !!!

ive fixed it i twiddled with the wires and it went off great stuff

my service/air bag light has been on for 6months now.

I crashed into a kerb at 60mph lol... set the pre-tensioners on the drivers side off. I've never replaced them as none have come up cheap enough (ie free)

If under warranty get it checked, my old 1.2 dynamique had to have the airbag replaced.

Or if it continues they can play with the wires, they offered to lengthen mine to stop the problem. fortunately *fingers crossed* the problems fixed itself before doing that though as my warranty has now expired

Thankfully its not come on when i have driven to work this morning everything seems to have gone wrong this week and when that happened i thought it may have been a trip to Renault.
