air box...

any one got the same air box as me ?
its not a circle where it connects to the engine instead it is an oval.
i need to know how big it is in cms or inches asap
i dont have my car atm but have recently bought a pipe to fit an air filter
need to know i have the correct size...
please help

Thats where the induction kit should ideally go, its a circle pipe that goes directly to the throttle body.

mine looks different to tht its more like on the side of the engine or top right corner if you like
and its oval

but if i do put it where you say what about the old air box and the whole it goes on ?

Just take all the plastic old airbox stuff off, its abit tight to get out but is well worth doing for the noise you get.

Push the back ones toward the front of the car and vice versa.

Yeah basically it makes 1.2's sound like a ferrari iirc.

forget the sarcasm, its just that one of my cars has already got this in, and hasn't got a back box or anything else... but something making the engine sound heavier and i dont know what it is..
