Air-con won't switch off!

I've searched the forums, but not quite found the same issue.

My ph2 172 air-con is on full blast hot and the unit does not respond to any of the buttons, so I cannot switch it off or turn it down or nothing!

Is the unit fecked? Any solutions or possible things to check?
