Air filter box?

Hi all,

if i were to take the air filter box out of my car, what difference, if any would it make ?

You would have a load of s**t going in to your engine, unless you replace it with another sort of filter.

Assuming that you mean you plan to remove the filter box (thus removing the filter).

Incredibly silly idea.

If you mean remove the housing and replace with an aftermarket induction (thus keeping filtration). Not such a silly idea, but can't see you gaining much other than noise.
