Air filter help

Well firstly let me say sorry.

But my question is can anyone tell me the surface area of the standard filter?

I'm looking to swap my filter over. I have previously searched the forum and no return for the answer.

Anyone got any good and cost effective ways of improving air flow. with or with out standard box?
