Air filter or induction kit

can i have some advice to which is better, eg ive heard that an induction kit needs alot of cold air to keep it running well is this true?and are they hard to fit?also does an air filter element like piperx provide a small amount of noise?

which is better for a mk1 1.4 s?

ah haaaa uve come to the right place m8.

induction kit is the one u want, K&N for noise, or IK kit for performance. but tbh, with a 1.4 ure better off with the noise.

make sure u get the cool air feed in the right place as with k&n kits u get a cool air feed with the kit.. i did with mine neway.

Hi,Ive got pipercros induction kit on my williams it sounds g8!Easy to fit(10 mins)Doesnt really improve performance but for noise alone id recomend it.An element will be half the price and may make slightly mor noise than standard.
