The other day, i heard a 182 rev and it sounded so nice. all he had was an airfilter

What airfilters give off the best sound?!?

Open one's I believe. But they can suffer from heat soak and therefore loose you some power.

Yeah the open ones are the loudest mate like my olden (now on steve's 172) but imo the enclosed one like the BMC i have on mine now is not only a better sound but better for performance aswell!!!

Steve was so impressed with the open one he had off me that hes now gone back to his airbox!!! Lol
