airbag fuse!

Hey guys and girls!!

I was wondering if when you remove the airbag fuse on a Mk2 ph1 that this would disable the airbags??

I want to put my rear fgacing child seat in the front of the car of possible, (less hassle than pulling the seat forward) so was hoping this would do the trick and turn it off?!?!

Any ideas, cheers??!!

the MKII has a key to turn it off and on does the MKI ?

nope!

if it had the key switch I'd use it, I wouldn't go the trouble of pulling the fuse! : )
