Mine had a cone filter on when I bought it. Obviously sounded great but after fitting a standard airbox and a pipercross filter, I found it to be much better low down in the revs.
Hiya, sorry to hijack your thread however I have MKII Y Reg Sport fitted with a K&N Air filter, a bloke at work said that its not very good as the engine will be taking in hot air and it uses more fuel, is this true?
If so, would it be better to remove the K&N and have a std air box fitted?
