Got ph2 172 cup I've just put a ph1 172 airbox in bit tight or best to stick to standard ph2 airbox

Do you mean a PH1 airbox? Some people say they make 1-2bhp at the top end. I get the feeling they may loose some low end grunt, but with enhanced noise. Do whichever you like, niether will utterly transform the car, but both are goo dproviding the filter element is decent quality or new oem.

Yeah doesn't really matter tbh, I personally have the ph1 but I'm not bothered either way. Could do with getting a ph1 elbow as mines tight too but been like it over a year no problem.

I don't think it makes no diff in the noise tbh but yes it's tight

Ah, yours is the dual inlet one. I think its the single large inlet one that makes all the noise (Espace v6 box?)

Yeah I've got the ph1 elbow but still little tight.

I'm thinking smaller battery or removing a small amount of metal work around the battery.

When I had a phase1 box on mine, I drilled the rivets out that held the two inlets on, and removed them. Leaves one big hole like a v6 box. Not that it makes any difference
