Michael172 Shed. Apr 24, 2007 #5 standard filter ? nothing atall, little performance increase, but believe me theres nothign. Get an induction kit, that way it sounds good, and theres a lot mroe power at the top end of the rev counter

C C.slicker Breaking A 172 Replica Apr 24, 2007 #6 If I were you I would get an IK. Route it to the very front grille and then you will not suffer from higher intake temperatures causing a decrease in performance. It will sound better than an air filter too although not as good as if you didn't re-route it at all. Choose between performance, expense and noise.
