I know this is a hilariously stupid question to someone who knows the answer, but is Airport Extreme essentially Apple's branded wifi? - I know of the basestation, plugs etc..
I'm looking at some minis on eBay, and they all mention Airport Extreme cards as opposed to Wifi; which is what I'm after. So an Airport Extreme card would work with my bogstandard wifi router just as a normal wifi card, would it not?
I'm using a wifi dongle on my current mini, hence I don't have a clue.
