Right, a friend is having issue with the alarm on their Vee...
Basically when you lock the car using the remote button on the key, it makes a beeping noise for 30+seconds (the beep you normally hear when the alarm has gone off and you unlock the car)
If you unlock the car using the key on the passenger side door, the alarm goes off, so it is definitely activated.
Have tried starting the car, opening and closing doors, bonnet and boot but the problem is still there.
Any ideas?
