Alarm issue

Any idea's why most times when my girlfriend locks her 182 it makes no sound but occasionally it beeps, it's the factory fitted security system - should it be silent or not?

Or am i being daft? i know my alarm on my old Integra had loads of different settings dependant on how long you press certain buttons on the fob for.

Right, nobody has responded - i'll make it simple, can anyone hear who owns a 182 tell me if their alarm arms/disarms it self silently of is there a beep???

Do a search for alarms it's been coverred a while back.

3 beeps is for something
4 beeps is for something else.

Happens when you turn the key in the ignition twice without starting the car. That disables the interior sensors.

But do a search, there was a thread on it a while back.
