Alarm issue

Following another post recently i am under the impression my battery may be on the way out and this adds to the theory.....

Just on here when i hear my alarm going off, went down stairs to unarm it, as i did this it sounded 3 or 4 longish beeps i've never heard before.

Battery problem?

following this last night i went to drive to work this morning and the bloody thing wouldnt start. but oddly the radio etc worked, gave it a few minutes and tried again and all was fine.

would the stereo, lights etc work if the battery was fudged?

it was bloody cold this morning too

Yes mate battery is shagged. Do you hear a fast clicking noise when trying the ignition?

um, can't recall hearing that but possibly - why's that, alternator?

Ancillaries such as the radio won't pull anywhere near as much current as starting the car,get it changed
