Alarm sensors

The alarm just set itself off and no one was near the car and I could see it out the window. So I just unlocked the car and it made the high pitched "beep beep" - the same beep that signifies that either a door isn't shut properly or you have armed it too quickly. Could this be the alarm sensors in the cabin being a bit dodgy?

Mine kept going off the other day and the led signified that the interior sensors had been tripped. On the third time of going out to check, a small moth flew out the door, and the alarm has been fine since! Not sure this helps you much but just thought I'd share it with you.
