There has been talk of these all over the Net recently, the general concensus is that they are not that good, they are hd ready but dont display a hd picture and if they break then your stuck as the warrenty doesnt count for much.

There are a couple of other posts about plasma/LCD. Imo you get what you pay for... you can get some really cheap tv`s but the picture quality might not be as good as you`d hope

surely any tv that isn't 1080p or 1080 native isn't genuinely high def'??? There aren't any for sale in the UK yet that are truly HD, no matter what the bumf says. I heard it's end of Summer at the earliest.

That thing has a 3 yr warranty and is as cheap as the proverbial chip.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO tempted

B&H do some arse kicking HD sets.

b&h i take it you mean b&o

oh and johny.med obviously your not totally sure about what 1080p is and why you would even want it as well tbh there is no use for 1080p at all at the mo there are no 1080p sources so no need for 1080p screens

oh and there are a few 1080 resolution screens out here they just lack the progressive input ability
