Okay so have a few questions! Didn't want to fill up every section of the forum with them so decided to put them all in one thread.

My car has rear brake drums, how often do the shoes need replacing? It's done almost 40,000 miles and was serviced last year, they didn't mention anything. How long do the shoes last?

How good are the touchup paint pens? Got a few chips on my bonnet that id like to get sorted so is this the best option? I assume Renault is the best place to get these, used a halfrauds one ages ago and it was awful.

Alot of the paints peeling off the inside of one of my alloys, is this a serious problem or is it just a case of it looking rubbish?

My LED Sidelights are flickering badly, is this just a case of bad LED's that need replacing? Or have I got the wrong ones? They're only a few weeks old.

Can anyone recommend some whiter headlight bulbs, I have projectors so I think it's H7 I need, just after some that look whiter and are similar brightness or better, was looking at HID's but that thread where someones car caught fire from cheap HID's has put me off!

My exhaust sounds a bit raspy under load, if i'm going slowly in second up a hill accelerating then there's a kind of gurgling sound to the exhaust, any ideas as to what this could be would be great!

My car has rear brake drums, how often do the shoes need replacing? It's done almost 40,000 miles and was serviced last year, they didn't mention anything. How long do the shoes last? - Pass. Rears are largely used for handbrake so will not wear at the same rate, until they need doing carry on.

How good are the touchup paint pens? Got a few chips on my bonnet that id like to get sorted so is this the best option? I assume Renault is the best place to get these, used a halfrauds one ages ago and it was awful. - I wouldnt bother. It will be the equivilant of tipex on paper, it never looks right.
