Alloy advice

  1.5 Clio Dynamique
ok so at the moment i have a w reg 1.2 clio and im bidding on some alloys on the bay that are 175 65 13.

the only thing is that my current wheels are 165 65 14

how will this affect the car in any way?

(renault alloys off a clio s or rsi i think but its a s reg)

they mite but you need to check if there are any other 1.2 clios with 13" alloys as they may not clear the brake callipers.

also why buy 13"????? 15" would look alot better

Think my old mk2 ph1 R reg had 13" steelies as standard, 165/70/R13 tyres.

Going from 165/65/14 to 175/65/13 will be a -2.18% difference in circumference. Not major, but means you speedo will be a little less accurate than already. This calculator will help http://www.alloywheels.com/tyrecalc.asp

I'd be more concerned about the tyres. Ideally, you want the same tyres with the same amount of tread on either side of an axle.
