Just a quick question to all of you... When you've bought a set of brand new wheels, aftermarket/standard do they come half painted (faces only) or completely painted?

Having ordered some wheels from a company, when they turned up they were in a terrible condition (dirt under paint/unsprayed parts/just faces painted only just!) to which I called the company and the owner says thats how all wheels are painted these days? It never says in the information about the wheel on the website that there only half painted so I should well be within my right to a full refund?

Any help would be much appreciated.

send them straight back he is defo mugging you off

im sure the likes of team dynamics,bbs,speedline ect dont just paint half their wheels and paint over dirt ect

what wheels you gettin nick?

Yeah this is what I said to the guy, Team Dynamics paint all of the wheel! The wheels I have are Prima Racing PL's which are the wheels i'm having problems with!

Will never buy from Prima Racing again, Tuners only get one chance with me nowadays, if they lie, mess me about or don't have decent customer service then i'll never spend any money with them again!

I had this with some BK racing wheels, Only the front where lacquered and soons the dust took hold they went mank. I phoned the place i got them and they said nothing to do with them as they were straight from BK.

Ordered my Team Dynamics from the same place and there were fine painted and lacquered all over, A! condition.

So i just thought it was down to the manufacturers
