Almost bought a mk1 vee!!

2001 on a 51 plate, with a genuine 15000 miles, its had 3 owners from new, and is immaculate condition, literally not a mark anywhere!

also has piperX viper professionally fitted to the side vent etc, a full stainless system which looks fantastic and sounds heavenly, and privacy glass!

i really am in love with this car, being only 20, insurance is £2360 but i dont really care, ive been offered 5500 to change from my cup to it..

i think i will! its number 035

i had a saxo VTR before my cup, which on i had spent £18000 on mods, and i absolutely loved the attention, hated it being so low i couldnt go anywhere, so i bought the cup because of its pure speed and handling,

however, i find it boring in town to be honest, i prefer the pose factor of the vee and the rarity especially of the mk1, and it makes you feel so special just driving it

im not leaving myself skint but its more "living for today" than i usually do..hehe im a natural born saver so ive decided to splash out for once!

Careful about the car being on your dad's policy m8. Loads of insurers are clamping down on that option - it was only supposed to be there as a get-out clause in the first place - being able to drive a car that was 'technically' listed against another driver for emergency situations.

It doesn't really count towards your NCB either. I was a named driver on my dad's policy for years and it meant jack when I actually came to getting a car of my own....

Good luck with the Vee though - you jammy bugger!
