Alpine 9855R Question

does anyone know if your able to turn the Low Pass Filter off on the Apline 9855R ont he Sub output.. if so how do you do it

If it's hardwired inside the HU as a sub out then I'd guess no, as you would always want a Low Pass filter on a sub out.

There's a section (from page 19) in the manual which talks about adjusting crossover settings. You appear to have 3 sections you can adjust, Low range speaker, Front high range speaker and Rear high range speaker. Although I don't know the unit I'd guess that those 3 sections refer to the 3 pre-outs the unit has.

Yeh they do, you can put it into either. 2-way or 3-way mode where the outputs are either Front, Rear and Sub or High, Mid and Low.

It does look to be a hardwired thing to me.

Hold down menu for a few seconds to get the adv menu. Select crossovers. Press band until you get to the sub output. Press source until the slope is flat (ie no filtering)
