Alpine HU - Stalk Control problem

Has anybody fitted an Alpine HU along with the stalk controls adapter ??

I have fitted mine ,i can adjust the volume via the stalk but cant seem to scroll through tracks on the CD ,however i can scroll through the radio channels when using the tuner ,anyone know if this is right ??

You cant skip tracks from the stalk control, bloody annoying really.

Doesnt the bottom button do the tracks?

You can go forwards but cant go backwards.

The scroll wheel thing is for folders on mp3 discs or cds in the changer.

Not sure if this is the same with Alpine but the bottom button moves forwards track and a quick double click switches it to move backwards.

That a Pioneer though with a stalk adaptor

Ok guys ,thanks for your help !

RB_172 is right (on my Alpine HU anyways) ,i can skip tracks only one way with the button on the bottom of the stalk .

Looks like Alpine could have done better tho ,there are 2 buttons on the top of the stalk ,one lets u change between Tuner & CD ,the other is dead ,wouldnt they have been better swapping things about so that the 2 buttons on top skipped tracks backwards & forwards leaving the single button underneath for changing between CD/Tuner

Other than that ,the 9815RB is an amazing HU !

exactly the same problem with mine. You get used to it after a while though.
