Alpine iDA X100

Anyone have this unit or one of the variants ie X200/300 just wondering what the thoughts on it were and how easy it is to use

hi mate, i got the 100,its quite easy to use,push the big middle button n the ipos menu comes up,then turn the outa bit n it will scroll up and down, nice little headunit, only down side is not having a cd player.

Im not to bothered about the CD player part just like the look of the unit alot and if i want CDs i can always get the Changers and stick it under the seat.

Take it youd recommend it ??

yea i would, o and the other thing is, the screen stays in , only the buttons can be removed when u leave ure car somewhere! hope u like it!

Yeah noticed that, you tryed hooking up a USB Pen drive to it id so how that work out or does it only come standard with theiPod connector ?
