Alpine sterring controls lead

i have a alpine 9812rb head unit in my clio mk2 ph2.

to make my steering wheel controls work bassjunkies reckon i need an adaptor lead which sounds right to me. However they say there £75!

anyone else with the same car/head unit and got the steering controls workin?

please help!

You can get the controller and the renault lead for about £60.

£45 for the controller and (funny old thing...) £15 for the lead.

where is that from mate?really want me controlls workin again, also does that make the display on the dash work again cause at the mo it just sez the time and temperature! al the rest is blank!

Youll need a KCE-840B (controller) and a KWE-845E (interface lead)

Sorry but youll have to get used to not having anything in the dash display! Trust me, it doesnt take long!

im sure there is a way to get the dash display to work, cause me mate who i bought the car off had a sony head unit an he got the controller to work and the dash display!or maybe just alpines dont work with the dash display, any ides if these leads are hard to fit?

A Sony would work, yeah. An Alpine wont.

No theyre not hard to fit. You just need to remove your dash and plug a couple of wires in.
