This won't be too different from the X200 will it? See, as i understand it doesnt have a CD player but can it connect to the CD Changer under my driver seat?

And can i stick a usb stick in with easy access or is that all behind the stereo?

Is is not different to the X200 but the X100 is a lot nicer! It shows up images of the album u're playing, and is an all round nicer uni tbh.

I've got one, great bit of kit. USB is dead easy, can run it all from the glovebox. It's a lot easier to install if you take the dash top off (10min job), as there's not much room for all the wiring. I stuck all the wiring in the gap next to the passenger airbag, all fits perfectly.

or easier is to take the panel off underneath the heater controls and hide it all down there. Theres acres of space

Didn't need to take any panels off when i fitted my dvd player that had ipod connection...

just found a gap in the back, that goes straight underneath the glove compartment...

yeah thats the easiest way to get the ipod lead out. I didnt take any of the car apart and i fitted the alpine bluetooth too loads of space behind if you organise it a bit

Yeah you cant transfer ur numbers over with it due to the new bluetooth software in the new phones. They are due to release a new kit which i will be trying soon when we get them in. Just buy a parrot kit if not. there excellent, and updatable

I've got the parrot kit. And the bluetooth for the n95 isn't having it.. Well it does for 5 secs, then it disconnects itself!

There is a way to get round that but i cant remember how. It happens all the time but i cant remember how to do it. Have u tryed updating the parrot kit. Sounds weird but what color is the main parrot kits box. Blue or black?

Yeah I haven't had the chance to update it yet.

What u mean the main box?... its just a speaker that plugs into the cigerette lighter, and another big that has the remote controls... and mic.

Get a ck3100 kit. U can get them for less than a 100 quid and are excellent value. The main thing is that they work and are reliable. And also have a display so there is no need to touch the phone as u can upload ur phone book to it

They are very good. Ive had one for a month or 2 now and i love it. Probably not as exciting as i did have the x001 before so am used to the whole ipod unit thing

Quicker to use due to the search/enter button bein in the middle of the wheel rather than 2 separate buttons looks better in black imo and goes better with the dashboard. other than that its workings are pretty similar and is still easily the best ipod unit on the market

Like a dark silvery gunmetal grey colour. Looks less obvious the x100 in my 182 dash. the old one looked blaringly obvious.

Not sure how to do that, as the wiring loom comes from near the airbag? Problem is the alpine leads are so chunky.

It arrived today, my next door neighbour signed for it, coz i was at work.

Went home for lunch, to get it and fit it (when i get something new , i have to fit it straight away! lol, i'm impatient!) Got home, and found that they were out

Have to wait till after work now! DOH!!!
