Whats the difference between the full speed lead and the usb ipod lead?

I paid a bit extra to have the full speed lead as part of a package. but seems as though i've wasted my money to buy the full speed lead..

Any thoughts?

you only need the full speed lead if you have a really old ipod i beleive.

otherwise all the newer ones just plug and play.

As for your previous question about not being able to play cd's. for me its no issue what so ever as all of my music is on itunes, and i rarely buy cd's anymore, download city!

I've had this headunit for a couple of months now, really good aswell with my iPod etc!

One query I have about it though is when I push in the outer wheel in the middle and turn it it hits like a stopper about a quarter of the way round and doens't seem to do anything...

Does anyone know what this fucntion does?

P.S Its he volume control if you don't push it towards the headunit; that part im on about.

I'm just worried i'll miss the fact i can't put CDs into the player no longer...

Does it bother you yet?

Never bothered me at all tbh.. The misses gets annoyed if we're shopping and she buys a cd, then cant listen to it on the way home, but hey ho!

Yes. if you push in the outer wheel and tun it a quarter as you say, what it does it goes through the list IE. albums a a letter at a time so that you don't have to scroll through so many if you want an album begining with P for example... Hope that makes sens..

haha yeh, it looks like it's sposed to do something as it catches on something but the instructions are so minimal

EDIT: just seen your post dude, will give it a try later on :)

Not really.. So it scrolls slower with the ring pressed in?

When you push it in and turn it ist scrolls quicker buy jumping through each letter at a time...

I think they are great unts and having the bluetooth adaptor added on Saturday

Ah right i get ya, so instead of scrolling though Britney/Bryan Adams/Celine Dion/Cher it will just go from britney to Celine? ;)

Oh yes....if you have alot of the same letter though you may gat a couple of say a's I think it jumps like 20 albums at a time or something.

Anyone find getting used to changing to the next track or the previous track a bit tricky..

I'm used to have the previous track and next track buttons on the right of the unit, but they're on the top left....

just me being picky i guess!
