i just bought a mk2 172 and was recommended to take a look on here

seems pretty friendly!!

Nice cars,

Some Silvervisions to freshen up the lights and abit of detailing to those wheels/tyres and arches are needed though I reckon :)

right specs:

clio - standard

cossie is stage 3 which is good for genuine 340bhp plus has had a complete bare shell rebuild.

Nice cars mate, and welcome. hehe the orange bits in the engine bay remind me of Mecano. :) I'm sure it's much more hi-tech than that. Always loved the Escort Cosworth wheels, nice touch. Leon Cupra R wheels would look cool on that... Mmm.. thinking out loud.
 
i'll get some pics of our clio up the weekend when its been cleaned.

good car except for a rattle on the front suspension, needs 2 tyres soon, and the alloys are a bit kerbed.

nothing that can't be fixed though

got some good techy info on there though. I help run a forum called rs-mania which is much more friendly, and despite the name you dont have to have a ford or rs to join.

i'll be on here to discuss clio's though. :cool:
 
cheers mate - i think its ugly myself and i've owned it nearly 8 years lol

i like the fact though that at a glance in you rear view mirror you can't tell what it is straight away. thats also why i like the clio - understated and unless you know what you're looking at you wouldn't know it was a bit special.

it was for sale but i'm keeping it now - wouldn't be able to live without the turbo 4wd rush.
 
I saw your cossie in last months fast ford mag - sweet :cool:
I'm not really a fan of sapphire cossies tbh, but yours looks nice, love the escort cos wheels.

I love my fast fords:cool:
 
Lovely RS :approve: Fell inlove with them years ago when I got a ride in a cossie saphire my neighbour owned. Damn it shifted and sounded so good too! Had all the chips and mods done to it too, dunno what though as it's been sold on and probably been wrapped around a tree by now as it was that fast lol
