Alternator broke? Car keep being completely flat.

Car had been running fine for 4 years i've had it. Left it for 14 weeks while i was away, came back just before christmas, started fine.

Since then my car has been mainly doing nothing for 1-2weeks then doing a 600+ mile trip over a weekend.

But now if i leave it a week it's flat.

I've put a new battery in and it's flat again.

simple voltage check would tell you if it's fucked

if the battery is not around 13.8-14.4v after the car is running for 2 mins then yes it is broke

sounds more like something's draining it while it's parked. light staying on, alarm, something like that

thing is it starts fine it's just if i leave it a week.

are you sure your new battery is good? if so, it might be a drain somewhere on the electrics. get an ammeter inline wi the batter and see what its putting when turned off
