Ambient temperature sensor.

Noticed the ambient temperature sensor humming/buzzing quite loudly by the interiror light the other day so bought another off ebay, have replaced it and it's buzzing just as bad if not worse.

What's the consequences of just leaving it unplugged/removed?

probably nothing if you don't have climate control set to auto as it will provide a feed back so it can add warm/cold air - manual adjust the temp by taking it out/in AC so the auto light goes off

Cool, so it literally is for when you just want to set climate control to auto and leave alone.

No problem, will leave it unplugged and set temperature manually on the fly for what I need.
