amp and subs wiring advice

ive got 2 12 inch infinitys that are 4 ohm and a kenwood mono 1000watt amp, whats the best way to wire them up? cus for some reason i dont they r done properly (maybe cus i done it)

in parallel which means + on amp to 2 wires leading to the + on the subs and 2 leads from - to the - on the amp. as long as the amp and subs are 2ohm stable
