Amps in roof

How easy would it be to fit amps in the roof of a dynamique ?

Will get it done professionaly coz want it to look more trick.

Just thinking of the head room in the back, the amps are tantrums x4.

If any of you have any ideas let me know

i looked at doing it but you need to either no more nails the amps to the roof or do some welding.

Ive seen it in a 106 mate so should be ok.

Problem is u need 2 get ur power/remote/rcas and speaker wires up there

The 106 had a panel covering the wires that spoiled the install a bit

the wiring would be a piece of the proverbial pi$$, just route them up through the a & c pillars and into the lining

it is possible, but again, would take a lot of work, strengthening and bracing the lining to support the weight of the amp, cooling would be an issue, plus you would have to find an amp that can be run upside down (cooling issue again)

Yeah, agree with Bambam, cooling them would be a big issue. Heat rises remember!

nah cooling is easy if you lower the roof lining flush with the amps you can build a ventilation system with a in and out fan system

you could even fit a rally style roof vent to cool the amps.

dont tempt him tom, hes already spent far too much on the clio

cooling is an issue, but can easily be sorted out, the mounting would be the hard part, and the fact that most amps WILL NOT run upside down

you could put bucket seats in the back, then in the centre build up some funky fibre glass shinanogans to mount the amp on.

To get around the amps that cant be mounted upside down..........

Screw open your amps turn the PCB inside around if its possible as some amps have the connectors wired to the board and not directly soldered.
