An alternative to 6x9's

i dont have anyroom for 6x9s, but i want something that will fit in my rear door cards that have the same type of sound 6x9s give out. but i dont have a clue about speakers lol. all i know is 6x9s dont fit in the card. anyhelp please?

just get a decent set of alpine speakers all round 13cm with tweeters, it will sound crisp!

Yeah mate.

Basicly... Just run amped front speakers. Good ones, and make MDF baffels secured to the door metal, with deadening behind.

This will give you ample sounds at good quality.

Head over to talkaudio.co.uk and stick up a post in general audio, with a budget and someone will be along to help you out. Also 2nd hand can be a lot more benefical with some real bargins.

What model alpine are they? personally i dont even rate the high end speakers they do.
