An improvement? my gf cant tell the difference

Getting a new camera for xmas so will be taking better pics

  Jag Mondeo -Type
Yeah looks better, but still subtle.

Why do they put f**king wheel weights on the rim!!! (Pet hate grrr)

the drive is on a slope, which makes it look stupidly high, it really isnt

i would have gone for the 16's but insurance is stopping me

Took me a while before i noticed the difference. I got the 16's for mine and you really can tell the difference on those. Not suprised your g/f cant though people said mine looked them same when i went from your old wheels to 172 ones. Its the lower profile tyres on the 16's that help alot though and the fact they stick out more.

used to have the 172 alloys on my old car, insurance wont let me have 16's on this car!

plus i spent a fortune on tyres for the 16's

why bother telling the insurance you have 16" CLIO alloys for your car?

because if i crash ,there is a chance the insurance will be voided

Yup, it's a fair point. Insurance companies are only too keen to find a reason not to give you any money back - if it's legal for them to do it then it's only good business, and they do say that any mods have to be declared. Not worth taking the risk imo. If you're gonna mod without telling the insurance you might as well not have any if you crash. Sh*te but true.
