the control stick for your wipers, there a button on the very end. hold that in and turn on the ignition (obviously only to full turn, you dont actually have to turn the engine on) then press the button to scroll through some meaningless info.

When your in diagnostics mods press the ADAC ie button on the and of the stalk and it cycles though the problems list and then shows a digital readout this is the fuel flow in liters from the pump.
I always thought it was the same as the current fuel consumption in regular mode.

My fuel flow trick wonly works with the engine running BTW.
You sure? Works in my mk1 172, which is why I thought it was current fuel consumption
Well its current fuel flow you could calculate the current MPG but youd need a constant spped for a few seconds to stop the effects on enrichment and thendivide speed by fuel flow (dont forget to translate the pump flow into gallons ie divide by 4.5461 first).Quote: Originally posted by viceroy on 05 October 2004
