Another Car wont start problem

Ok, so Ive been to my mums this morning, come back.

Decided I'd nip to the shops to get some bread ad milk and the car wont start :(

I have searched the threads, so Ive took note of whats been mentioned in the returned results.

1. The immobiliser does disable

2. I would check if the fuel pump primes, but I'm not sure how.

3. Things Ive noted on the dashboard:
`- When trying to start, the car does turn over, All lights in the centre section of the dash light up, bar the indicators.
`- After a few turns, most of the lights disappear, bar SERV, ABS, battery/stop/handbrake
`- Upon doing so, the rev counter / speedo needles drop a few millimeters
`- The dash lights fade a little (as expected)

Any ideas? It had a new TDC Sensor I think in 2007 (Crank sensor?) When I had the belts changed.

2003/53 Clio 172

Ill check fuel pump to see if it primes, once I know how.

Thanks

hi mate.

to check the fuel pump lift up the back seat behind the drivers seat.

you will see a black round cover lift that up (just give it a pull)

you will then see the top of the pump.

place one hand on the pump and turn the ignition 2 clicks and you should hear a 2 second buzz.

(sometimes you might have to turn ignition on and off a few times a to feel it)

usually you can hear it prime with seats in but this is a good way to be sure

^ how tho if the car does turn over meaning theres enough power goin to the starter,

Could it be down to a faulty UCH ?
