Another Failed Overtake

yet again i went to over take someone, yet again my engine cut out, and yet again i had to pull over and figure out what was happening, this time i was doing 30, put it in 3rd to overtake, engine dies, stop, when i restarted the engine the petrol light stayed on, thats a new one on me. i had half a tank, so i doubt it was low on petrol i wondered if the pump had failed or something.



any clues.



p.s. ive had about 6-7 failed overtakes now for lots of reasons that caused the engine to die.

sounds like it could be the petrol sensor?

if its faulty it may cut out the engine thinking its out of fuel

i might be wrong but just a thought
