Another RS tuner question

Hello all,

I bought a second hand RS tuner from a guy on here and just bought a license for it to map the car. Anyone know how long it normally takes to get the unlock code.? Also where do you get the maps from? I have a 2003 172 and it is standard. Do I need to buy a generic map? Is there more then one to choose from?

I know it doesnt give more bhp but read it sorts out idle and lower down grunt.

Sorry but I am a bit of a novice when it comes to this sort of thing.

Normally through straight away i think but dont worry the license it will come through, and you download maps from the fastchip server, you will need to install the rstuner software and you go from there. And there all generic maps but there are different ones i.e a 98ron map
