any Comman Faults?

Hey guys, i just wanted to know, as i'm due to buy a clio 182 soon, are there any common faults or problems that i should be looking out for?

any hints or tip's when looking at used 182's?

Engine mounts, can be weak points, OEM exhausts don't last long, leaking headlamp washers on the FF models.

whats OEM? standard? they arnt major problems though are they lol just lil things. makes a change from having a car that the common fault was the gearbox and clutch! lol (polo GTi By the way) lol roll on 182

lol...i also had a polo gti...with a dodgy gearbox...

As said the standard exhaust is mild steel, it WILL rust through and fall off

What are the TDC sensors? i'm only askin about the common faults cos i'm lookin to buy a used 182 in the week, with 23,000 miles on a 04 plate. it had tha air bag light on, but i know wat tha is.

I had a 2000 plate polo gti that i sold a few years ago and it also had a gearbox problem.

Went through 2

Wouldn't go as far as garbage though :S
