My mate had a thing that you can plug into cigerette lighter and then put your radio on the same station and it played his ipod!! Connection was fine as well
cable from the aux socket it's where the cd multichanger would/plugs in (if you have it on yours) on the back of the head unit fed it down to the ash tray and through the hole for the light plugs into headphone socket make sure you enable the aux option on your head unit so it can be selected works a treat. Cable going between 6 and 10 quid on ebay alot better than the cd changer IMO although changing albums on the move takes some skill or just opt for pot luck.
Aux cable does not work with the tuner list head unit that is in the 172. It does not have an aux port on it, you need a connects2 adaptor to connect to the cd changer port as this is a digital audio input the head unit needs to be fooled into thinking that a cd changer is connected.
I got a Charger/Transmitter at the weekend but when i'm trying to tune it in I can't get my stereo to manually tune. It keeps going through the frequencies to the next station. Any ideas how to turn the AF off?
Its a "Tuner List" stereo.
